Live answers

When the network path works, your message is sent to chopstickshq.com/api/chopsticks-ai. The server may retrieve product facts from a knowledge base and call a language-model provider to draft a natural reply.

• No account required for free effort levels (guests stay local)
• Optional account: email and password via chopstickshq.com. Chats sync when signed in.
• No API key required from you for free effort levels
• Guest chats are not stored on our servers for later browsing or analytics
• Provider-side processing follows that provider’s terms for the draft call

Offline fallback

If the API is unreachable, rate-limited, or cooling down, ChopsticksAI answers from the compiled knowledge base on your device (browser widget, macOS app, or MacBar Chat).

• Chopsticks HQ product topics only in that path
• Nothing leaves your device for those offline answers

Apps themselves

MacBar, Fathom Air, and Fathom Pro do not send usage telemetry to Chopsticks HQ. Fathom Pro’s optional AI features use your provider keys when you enable them — that traffic goes to those providers, not to us.
