In one paragraph

MacBar, Fathom Air, and ARENA do not create Chopsticks accounts and do not send product telemetry to us. Optional AI uses keys you provide, or the LarkquillAI live path if you use that product. This website may store a theme preference in your browser. Hosting (AWS CloudFront) sees normal request logs. We do not sell personal data.

This website

• Theme choice may be saved in localStorage (chq.theme) on your device.
• Public version.json files are used for update checks. That is a fetch of a static file, not an account.
• Download counters (for example ARENA) go through /api/dl-count as aggregate counts. We do not ask you to sign in for that.
• The Universal-FrameFX page counts downloads; to avoid double counting, a salted one-way hash of the IP address is kept for up to a day and then removed, and no readable IP address is stored.
• The host may log IPs, user agents, and URLs the way any CDN does. We do not run a separate marketing tracker on HQ pages.

LarkquillAI

LarkquillAI runs on Vercel at larkquillai.vercel.app. Chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Guests are not required to make an account.

• Accounts. Optional. Sign in with an email code, a password, a passkey (WebAuthn), or Google sign-in. An account saves your chats and settings.
• What is stored for an account. Your email address. For passwords, only an argon2id hash. For passkeys, the public key and its ID, not your fingerprint or face. For Google sign-in, the verified email from Google. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as hashes. Sessions last 30 days.
• Terms agreement. New accounts must agree to the Terms and this page (version 2026-10-21). We store when you agreed (terms_accepted_at) and the version (terms_version).
• Abuse limits. Your IP address is used for rate limits and to lock out repeated failed sign-ins.
• reCAPTCHA. Sign-in is protected by reCAPTCHA v3 against abuse. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
• Payments. Paid plans go through Buy Me a Coffee. We never see your card. Buy Me a Coffee sends us a signed webhook when you pay. We keep the event and transaction IDs, the result, and the supporter email so we can unlock your plan.

MacBar and Fathom

No product accounts. No usage analytics to Chopsticks HQ. Optional AI talks to the provider whose key you enter. MacBar detail: /macbar/privacy.html.

Chopsticks Game Studios

• ARENA — no accounts, no telemetry, no network in the app itself.
• Atomic Dawn — released. Mac download is on itch.io. The game does not require an account. Saves stay on your Mac.
