By downloading or using Fathom Pro you agree to these terms. Fathom Pro adds weather and AI features that involve third-party services — the sections on unlock keys, provider keys, AI content, and location matter most.

By downloading, installing, accessing, unlocking, or using Fathom Pro in any form, including Pro Beta and any future releases, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not download, install, or use Fathom Pro.
These Terms govern your use of Fathom Pro and any associated downloads, updates, documentation, or online services provided by the developer. Your continued use of the software constitutes your acceptance of the most recent version of these Terms.
Fathom Pro is provided free of charge on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties, guarantees, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, compatibility, security, reliability, accuracy, or error-free operation.
The developer does not guarantee that Fathom Pro will operate without interruptions, bugs, crashes, freezes, security vulnerabilities, data loss, inaccurate readings, increased resource consumption, reduced battery life, or other unexpected behavior.
You acknowledge and agree that your use of Fathom Pro is entirely at your own risk.
Fathom Pro is currently distributed as a Pro Beta release. Beta, preview, and experimental builds may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change or removal without notice.
Such builds may produce inaccurate measurements, behave unpredictably, consume unexpected resources, or fail to function entirely. You acknowledge these risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for using pre-release functionality.
Fathom Pro reports battery and power information obtained from macOS system APIs. Charge percentage aims to match the macOS menu bar. Remaining time, wattage, power distribution, and per-process attribution are estimates that depend on system APIs, hardware, and current workload, and they may be inaccurate or unavailable.
These readings are informational only. They are not a substitute for manufacturer diagnostics, service tooling, or professional advice, and they must not be relied upon to assess battery health or safety.
Fathom Pro is unlocked with a randomly generated oi-pl key. This is a client-side unlock token only. It is not an OpenAI, OpenRouter, or other cloud API key, it carries no credit or balance, and it grants no access to any paid third-party service.
Unlock keys are made available free of charge through the vault generator and the homepage easter egg on this site. No purchase is required and no fee is charged for Fathom Pro. Keys must not be sold, resold, or presented as paid licences, cloud credentials, or official access to any third-party provider.
The developer may change, rotate, or discontinue the unlock mechanism at any time.
Fathom Pro's AI features require you to supply your own API keys for a supported provider such as OpenRouter, Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic. Keys you enter are stored in the macOS Keychain on your device and are not transmitted to the developer.
You contract directly with those providers. Your use of them is governed solely by their own terms and privacy policies, and you are solely responsible for all usage, charges, rate limits, and account consequences arising from keys you configure. The developer receives no payment from and has no control over those providers.
When you use AI chat or Explain drain, the request and any accompanying battery or system snapshot are sent to the provider you have configured. Do not use these features with information you are not willing to share with that provider.
Responses produced by AI features, including Explain drain, are generated by third-party language models. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading, and they may misattribute battery usage.
AI output is provided for general information only. It is not professional, technical, medical, legal, or financial advice, and it must not be relied upon for decisions about hardware servicing, safety, or repair. Verify anything important independently.
Fathom Pro's weather features use your Mac's approximate location to request a forecast from Open-Meteo. To retrieve a forecast, approximate location coordinates leave your device and are sent to that service; the developer does not receive or store them.
Weather data is supplied by a third party and is provided without any guarantee of accuracy, timeliness, or availability. It is not suitable for navigation, aviation, maritime, agricultural, or any safety-critical use.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer, contributors, licensors, and any affiliated parties shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages arising out of or relating to your installation, use of, inability to use, or reliance upon Fathom Pro.
This limitation includes, without limitation, damages relating to data loss, file corruption, hardware or software failures, reduced system or battery performance, decisions made in reliance on reported measurements, business interruption, lost profits, security incidents, service interruptions, or any other loss arising from use of the software.
Where applicable law does not permit certain limitations of liability, such limitations shall apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Fathom Pro integrates third-party services including AI providers and weather data sources. The developer has no control over these services and makes no representations regarding their availability, accuracy, security, pricing, content, or continued operation.
Your use of any third-party service is governed solely by that provider's terms and privacy policy. The developer accepts no responsibility for outages, pricing changes, generated content, policy changes, account suspensions, or any loss arising from third-party services.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your files, protecting your data, ensuring your device meets the stated system requirements, and determining whether Fathom Pro is suitable for your intended use.
Fathom Pro is not designed, certified, or intended for use in environments where software failure or inaccurate readings could result in injury, loss of life, significant property damage, or other high-risk situations, including medical, emergency response, aviation, maritime, industrial control, or similar critical applications.
Official builds are distributed from chopstickshq.com and the corresponding GitHub releases. Builds may be ad-hoc signed, so macOS Gatekeeper may require right-click → Open on first launch.
You should obtain Fathom Pro only from these official sources. The developer accepts no responsibility for modified, repackaged, or third-party redistributions, and such copies must not be represented as official releases.
Unless otherwise stated, all trademarks, branding, logos, graphical assets, documentation, original source code, and other intellectual property associated with Fathom Pro remain the exclusive property of the developer or their respective owners.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any intellectual property rights except where expressly permitted by an applicable license. Any third-party software, libraries, fonts, or components included with Fathom Pro remain subject to their respective licenses.
The developer may release updates, modifications, security patches, new features, or revised versions of Fathom Pro at any time. Update checks may read a public version.json file hosted on this site; this transmits no personal information.
The developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or permanently remove any feature, service, download, or version of Fathom Pro without prior notice.
The availability of downloads, online services, update checks, documentation, or websites associated with Fathom Pro is not guaranteed. The developer reserves the right to discontinue any part of the project at any time without liability.
You agree to use Fathom Pro only in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to misuse, interfere with, abuse, or intentionally disrupt any services provided through Fathom Pro, nor to represent modified or unofficial versions as official releases.
The developer reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of Fathom Pro after revised Terms have been published constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude any legal rights that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer concerning Fathom Pro and supersede any prior agreements, communications, understandings, or representations relating to the software.
