Install

Download or curl-install

Use the CLI tarball above, or paste this one-liner in Terminal:

$ curl -fsSL https://github.com/ilikemacos/MacBar/releases/download/v1.5.8/MacBar-CLI.tar.gz -o /tmp/macbar-cli.tar.gz && mkdir -p /tmp/macbar-cli && tar xzf /tmp/macbar-cli.tar.gz -C /tmp/macbar-cli && bash /tmp/macbar-cli/install-cli.sh

Install to your PATH

From the extracted folder: bash install-cli.sh — links macbar to ~/bin (or sudo ./install-cli.sh --system for /usr/local/bin).

Run MacBar in the terminal

Type macbar for the live dashboard. Works over SSH. Optional: pip3 install psutil for smoother stats.
